Chester dikenal sebagai vokalis band yang memiliki scream yang panjang dan berkarakter, dia merupakan vokalis utaman Linkin Park, selain Mike Shinoda yang biasa menjadi backing vocal, mc dan rapper.

Lost In The Echo. Linkin Park mengeluarkan album terakhirnya One More Light pada Mei 2017. Salah satu lagu yang ada dalam album One More Light ini adalah ” Good Goodbye “, bisa jadi ini memang salam perpisahan yang disampaikan Chester Bennington untuk fansnya. Selain itu ada beberapa lagu yang menurut saya sedikit menyerempet ke hal-hal perpisahan, antara lain ” Nobody Can Save Me ” dan ” Sorry For Now ” . Meskipun lagu-lagu tersebut ditulis oleh Mike Shinoda, namun kebetulan liriknya sedikit mengarah ke sebuah perpisahan.

Tanpa Alasan saya sempat hobi mendengarkan lagu Linkin Park, dari albumnya Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora, Minutes to Midnight dan A Thousand Sun saya punya kaset dan CDnya. Sampai sekarang pun kadang saya memutar mp3nya untuk selingan atau saat sedang istirahat. Dan ini satu-satunya band yang selalu saya ikuti, terutama untuk rilis lagu barunya.
